I can say that I was there
I was in Kissimmee tonight, listening to Barack Obama talking to the crowd. I was in that crowd, clapping and cheering along with so many others. It was 51 degrees outside and yet during the rally, I wasn't cold at all....because there were SO MANY people there all around us that the collective body heat made it about 20 degrees warmer.
This was the first political rally I have ever been to. It was amazing....that basically a midnight rally on a Wednesday night would draw so many people. That people were making connections all around us. That I hope with all my heart that tonight I was in the presence of the next President of the United States.
I am so ready for change.
